The BASSnet Control of Work app lets you create permits to work directly from your mobile device whenever you need.
Integrated with the BASSnet desktop system, the app supports your vessel’s reporting activities in offline and online modes. With syncing capabilities, updates made in the app while offline will auto sync to the BASSnet database when your device is connected to the internet.
You get to link permits to risk assessments and job orders, ensuring compliance to safety and regulatory requirements. You can track permits easily with user-friendly overview of permits categorized by location and type.
The app simplifies the permit workflow with three easy steps:
1. Preparation: Ensure all company requirements are met prior to execution.
2. Execution: Report activities for that permit.
3. Completion: Mark the end of the permit movement and job done.
The app’s fully digitalized Permit to Work process increases efficiency when recording work, enabling crew members to simply tap Yes/No to fulfill checklist items, enter comments and upload voice memos, images, and document files as attachments at any phase of the permit.
Plus, the structured process flow of the app includes quick and easy approvals, assigning crew-in-charge, digital signatures for permit authorization and signoffs, as well as sharing permit reports instantly.
